Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance existing regression test scripts for UI and API.
  • Execute automated regression test suites to ensure application stability.
  • Design and develop new UI and API test automation scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (developers, product owners, business analysts) in an Agile environment to ensure quality across the SDLC.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within QA practices.
  • Challenge the status quo and contribute innovative ideas to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance and support.
  • Lead test planning, strategy, and execution for complex projects.
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely reporting of test results and defects.
  • Drive adoption of best practices in test automation, CI/CD integration, and quality assurance.

Good To Have Technical Skills:

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in software testing and test automation.
  • Proficiency in Java or similar programming languages (e.g., Python, C#, JavaScript).
  • Experience with Loan IQ application or other relevant lending applications (preferred).
  • Strong background in desktop application test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes using tools like Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools.
  • Solid understanding of API testing, UI testing, and performance testing.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and test management tools (e.g., Azure Test Plan, JIRA, TestRail).
