We are looking for a new colleague with a passion for logistics and warehouse management within a data centre environment. A service-oriented go-getter with a can-do mindset and good communication skills.

You will Delivering and maintaining IT applications and services in order to realize the organization's strategy in the field of information technology.

You will be part of the Data Centre Operations 2 squad which is responsible for the ING global data centre service. Managing the physical sites for access, providing physical Installations of the IT hardware, cabling on the data centre floors, maintaining the capacity (Rack, Power and Cooling) and managing our central warehouse.

Your job:

You are , within the warehouse mainly responsible for:

  • Managing the logistic process in our warehouse.
  • Coordinating and handle inbound, storage, and outbound deliveries .
  • Maintaining inventory control and managing stock levels.
  • Operating material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborating with various departments to optimize logistics processes.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Processing decommissioned hardware in a sustainable way.
  • Remote hands service.

As a member of an energetic team, you will support further development and enhancements in our warehouse and the logistic process.

You will participate in agile work processes such as daily stand-ups. With your squad, you work on common goals and a shared backlog, develop skills, and gain knowledge.

Competencies - Behaviors:

  • Dutch speaking is mandatory.
  • Natural self-motivation and drive to take end-to-end ownership.
  • Accurate.
  • You like to be physically active.
  • Flexibility in working hours.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and organized, with the ability to identify what needs to be done and do it.
  • Intrinsically positive mindset with a natural tendency to see solutions rather than problems.
  • Working on-call shifts is part of this position.

Your education and background

  • MBO education; preferable logistics.
  • Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite is a pre.
  • Risk awareness.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
