WB Capital & Models Specialist

We are looking for an expert to join our department and support our models and / or capital teams. You will act as a business analyst for the WB portfolios and participate in establishing and executing the long-term direction and goals in WB. You will orchestrate E2E process improvement initiatives and with your deep knowledge of the underlying systems and processes you will advise on process improvements in the Model Life Cycle, related credit risk processes and capital planning and management. You will align with relevant internal and/or external stakeholders, and you will design and implement continuously improvements to new and existing processes and procedures. Together with the team you will orchestrate analyst activities required for the correct implementation of the respective Credit Risk Models, while safeguarding the wider WB strategy. You will anticipate complex issues including resolution of internal and ECB Findings, delivered according to regulatory timelines and business requirements.
In your role you will support one or more of the teams in the department, depending on your expertise, in the following areas:

Models
•Perform business analysis activities to shape and drive key initiatives in WB such as improvements in the Model Life Cycle and correct implementation of the WB Credit Risk Models
•Advise to introduce / stop / continue processes based on data-driven and commercial insights
•Design smart solutions and align with the appropriate delivery organizations for the respective implementation
•Coordinate with a wide area of stakeholders and build a network within the FO, IT and Operations to ensure that E2E process improvements can be quickly adopted and embedded within the organization
•Write and edit material for various stakeholders in the WB community, focused on training and informing on relevant procedures, tailoring the tone and content to match the needs and expectations of each audience
•Manage the demand to the delivery management and other internal- & external partners and actively engage in the Quarterly Business Review process
•Actively align and follow-up with Front office to follow policies and procedures in a manner that prevents data quality issues and ensures full compliance with predefined standards

Capital
• Execute RWA optimizing initiatives within the Capital Management & Capital Planning teams
• Set long-term WB capital planning and determine the optimal funding and capital mix considering regulatory requirements and commercial strategy, at sector and location level
• Shape the future WB asset portfolio composition, represent the WB in WB RWA envelope allocation and take active role in loan distribution projects by setting long-term strategies with locations
• Ensure understanding of the WB RWA across the bank and drive alignment across teams.
• Cooperate with WB Lending & Sector organization on WB Balance sheet optimization activities


Job requirements
We are seeking a candidate with the following knowledge and experience:
• Experience working with Credit Risk models and/or capital related processes
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
• Problem-solving skills and a "Make it happen" mindset with a proven track record.
• Persuasive abilities to convince stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and at all levels within the organization.
• Leadership skills to bring together end-to-end stakeholders and drive decisions beyond hierarchical influence.
• Understanding and knowledge of (i) Credit risk model methodology and key concepts (e.g., PD, EAD, LGD), and/or (ii) Funding & liquidity.
• Basic understanding of Lending and Finance IT system architecture from front to end
• Familiarity with credit risk regulations (CRR 3, EBA standards) and policies.

Preferred experience:
- FO and/or Risk transactional experience
- Experience in SAS
