In this key role as Associate, Commercial Property Finance, you’ll work closely with credit, compliance, lending support and our dynamic team of relationship & senior relationship managers as they manage the client lifecycle from deal origination; navigating the credit approval process through to periodic account reviews.

What you’ll do

  • Managing a mature commercial property loan portfolio and achieving settlement of accounts from beginning-to-end within required timeframes
  • Actively involved in deal execution and processing, including preparation of detailed analysis and internal credit applications on commercial property transactions
  • Providing exceptional customer service on high value transactions for high net worth commercial property clients including construction lending
  • While administrative tasks are part of the role, you’ll be able to focus on higher-value activities with support from the Lending Support team. You’ll collaborate with other team members in the Commercial Property Finance team and engage directly with clients on transactions typically ranging from $5M to $100M.
  • Monitoring data quality across ING’s systems and responsible for account management including Know Your Customer (KYC)
  • Managing priorities while working closely with senior relationship manager to provide top quality business development support

What we’re looking for

  • Strong knowledge of the credit approval and loan settlement process
  • Excellent research and analytical/numerical skills with experience reviewing project and finance documentation/modelling
  • A minimum of 3 years’ banking/finance experience with exposure to commercial property finance and strong knowledge of project development and construction lending
  • An ability to process data information into a presentable form with a strong attention to detail
  • A strong work ethic and ability to multi-task with a team player mindset with a willingness to learn for growth and personal development
