Dev Test Engineer

As a Dev Tester, you will function in one of our Squads and work in cross-cutting role driving advancements in our engineering practices. Reporting to the Chapter Lead, this role will play a key role in the continual advancement of our engineering practices through practices such as Agile and Continuous Delivery. 

Joining a supportive and dynamic team, the successful candidate will be responsible for writing and maintaining automated test cases and ensuring continuous improvement of the test automation practice.

What you’ll do …

• Developing AI-driven test frameworks, proficiency in AI-driven tools (E.g. GitHub CoPilot), machine learning for self-healing scripts, and data-driven testing, while quantifying impact, such as reducing testing time.

• Working along the full lifecycle of software engineering from ideas to working production

• Ensuring the delivery of timely, quality solutions by leading the testing effort across projects, as required, through effective planning, scheduling, oversight and execution

• Contributing to the ongoing quality of both delivery and testing capability

• Closely working with the lead in the growth of the test automation practice and promoting a quality culture

• Actively contribute to initiatives which support the growth and efficiency of the testing discipline

• Contributing to the building of a talented, responsive test team

What we’re looking for….

• Experience integrating AI (Copilot) into QA, specializing in reducing script maintenance and enhancing test coverage.

• Demonstrated experience in building full stack test automation frameworks including database, services and user interface using open source\Microsoft technologies

• Experience in designing UI Test Automation Framework using Selenium WebDriver, Appium,

• Expertise in full stack test development including database, services and user interface i.e. Java with Cucumber development background.

• Extensive experience in Test Automation of SOAP, Rest and Micro services.

• Hands-on experience in Junit, Maven and/or other unit and automated testing tools

• Ability to write and understand intermediate SQL queries for test data management

• Knowledge of Java script and C# languages
