The Senior Business Analyst is a member of a squad within the Core Banking Program at ING to define and execute on the Business Design and Strategy for the Program to deliver on intended program outcomes. This role will reside in the Business Design Stream of the Core Banking Program, which is responsible for the overall scope and benefits of the Program, covering all areas of the end-to-end process across origination and account servicing.

In this position you will have the opportunity to work on a large-scale transformative program and be responsible for ensuring business requirements are clearly interpreted into language that is easily understood by both a business and technical audience.

What You’ll Do

  • Clearly define and document requirements that support business objectives

  • Work with Service Designers, Customer Journey Experts and Product Owners to ensure requirements are ready for development teams

  • Liaise with vendors and internal technical SMEs to ensure that requirements can be delivered in line with time and cost constraints

  • Define requirements to enable business processes and validate with business stakeholders

  • Assist various business units with respect to product/system/process queries

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working on large-scale Core Banking Transformation or Lending Transformation programs

  • 6+years’ experience as a Senior Business Analyst – process analysis, requirements and detailed functional design in Banking is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of key lending / mortgage processes, systems and tools from an origination (Application, Decisioning, Collateral, Settlement & Commissions) and/or servicing perspective (In-Life Account Maintenance, Payments, Correspondence, Finance & Reporting)

  • Experience working in an Agile environment. Participated in the creation of project artefacts and participated in all agile ceremonies

  • Ability to define business processes that need to be developed or automated to allow the use of the new or updated systems to be used by the business

  • Experience reviewing proposed technical solutions and validate solution fit to business requirements
