We’re looking for a Senior Customer Journey Expert to join our growing Consumer Lending team.  Using your exceptional Customer Journey Expertise, including end to end journey development through to supporting your Product Owners in your team who’ll complete the delivery throughout the squads.

You’ll report to the Product Area Lead – Origination, where you’ll be responsible for the acquisition strategy origination journey optimisation and conversion.

An Acquisition background and proven experience is essential to the success of this role. You’ll be a process improvement guru; with experience considering how our application forms and credit decision engine is humming and how this can be improved. Overall, you’ll have a customer lens on every step of our customer journey and always seeking to improve our customer experience.

What you’ll do

  • Lead product management initiatives for consumer lending, ensuring they align with the organisation’s strategic objectives.
  • Optimise customer journeys by improving origination processes and enhancing the overall customer experience.
  • Develop and deliver acquisition strategies, driving growth through improved conversion and approval rates.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, including enhancements to application forms and credit decision systems.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring transparency and alignment across internal and external teams.
  • Monitor KPIs and financial targets, using data-driven insights to guide decisions and achieve business outcomes.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years’ experience in product management within banking or financial services, ideally in consumer lending, cards, or personal loans.
  • Proven ability to optimise customer journeys, including digitisation initiatives that improve portfolio growth, time to decision, and customer experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of acquisition strategy and process optimisation, with expertise in marketing acquisition and financial monitoring.
  • Experience working in Agile environments, managing product development and initiatives collaboratively across squads.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams.
  • Analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and familiarity with research techniques (quantitative and qualitative).
