It’s a fun and exciting time to grow your career with ING, and we’re looking for a passionate and customer centric Home Loan Specialist, Outbound New Sales to join our high performing Direct Mortgages Team in Wyong on a 6 month secondment.

As a Home Loan Specialist, you’ll be responsible for converting mortgage leads and referrals into applications while ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience through to settlement. You’ll also be part of a fun and supportive team where we encourage collaboration and celebrate each other’s successes. Additionally, you’ll manage your own your pipeline for success, and we’ll give you the leadership and coaching needed to make it happen.

Our Home Loan Specialists are required to participate in a rotating roster between the hours of 8am to 8pm and you will be required to work the occasional Saturday shift (once per month).


What you’ll do

  • Contact and update customers from initial call through to settlement.
  • Drive growth in our Direct Mortgages portfolio.
  • Determine and analyse product options in line with information gathered from customers.
  • Establish and build a working relationship with your sales support teams and colleagues.
  • Meet and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction measured in ‘Customer Experience’ Surveys.

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience in writing mortgages and/or a strong sales background would be ideal.
  • A true self-starter with a can-do attitude and a desire to learn.
  • Proven experience working to tight deadlines and meeting agreed KPIs.
  • A customer centric mindset and a genuine passion to provide exceptional service.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
