Your role & work environment

You contribute to the operational credit processes of ING Luxembourg by ensuring both the accurate execution and validation of credit files, as well as the quality, consistency and usability of credit data throughout its entire lifecycle.

Based in Luxembourg City, you will join the Shared Operations department, which brings together the Lending Operations, Real Estate Valuation, Customer Care, Payment Processing, and Payment Claims & Investigations teams, and work closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities

Credit Operations & Validation

  • Process incoming and outgoing credit-related correspondence
  • Prepare credit files prior to submission to credit analysts
  • Draft and validate credit agreements and related documentation
  • Set up and validate credit facilities in the relevant systems
  • Monitor existing credit files throughout their lifecycle
  • Handle ad hoc requests from internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor, control and resolve outstanding operational tasks

Credit Data Management & Quality

  • Identify, analyse and resolve data anomalies, inconsistencies or discrepancies
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency and reliability of credit data
  • Contribute actively to data quality and data governance objectives

Reporting

  • Produce recurring operational, managerial and regulatory reports

As a Lending Operations Officer, you will need:

  • A degree in Finance, Economics or a related field (min. Bac+2/Bachelor)
  • Previous experience in a credit-related or in a data management environment is required
  • An interest in AI, in a regulated operational environment, is required
  • Strong administrative rigour, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Sound judgement and strong decision-making skills
  • Strong sensitivity to data quality and data governance
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to clearly interpret and present information
  • Ease with numbers, structured data and reporting tools
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in French and English is mandatory
