ING Solutions Investment Management (‘ISIM’) is looking for a Fund & Portfolio Oversight Intern to strengthen our Fund & Portfolio Oversight team, starting 1st January 2027 for a period of 6 months.

Please note that only students who can provide a valid internship agreement (school convention) will be considered. 

Your Working Environment

Since its launch in 2014, and as a licensed "Super ManCo", ISIM has established itself as a key strategic platform within ING Global Investment Centre, overseeing a broad range of investment funds distributed across multiple jurisdictions.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment at the crossroads of investment management, fund governance, regulatory oversight and sustainable finance.

Your Role

As a Fund & Portfolio Oversight Intern, you will play a key role in contributing to the effective oversight of delegated portfolio management activities. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including Investment Managers, Risk Management, Compliance, Legal or Product Management, contributing to day-to-day oversight responsibilities.

Your Responsibilities

Portfolio Management Oversight

  • Monitor, analyze and challenge Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) relating to portfolio management activities
  • Contribute to preparation of management information, reports and analysis for Senior Management, Committees and the Board of Directors regarding fund performance, investment activities and regulatory compliance
  • Contribute to due diligence reviews and periodic assessments of appointed Investment Managers
  • Contribute to the continuous enhancement of data quality and reporting capabilities
  • Actively participate and support in any projects linked to the ManCo for which the support of the Fund & Portfolio Oversight team is required

ESG – Sustainability

As the Fund & Portfolio Oversight team acts as a centre of expertise for sustainability matters, you will :

  • Contribute to ongoing ESG monitoring and reporting for the funds under management
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of SFDR-related requirements and sustainability disclosures

Your Profile

Education & Experience

  • Education at Bac+4/5 level with a finance specialization
  • An experience in finance field is a required
  • Knowledge of financial markets is considered an asset
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint and Word);

Personal Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

Languages

  • Professional fluency in English is required
  • Knowledge of any additional European language is considered an asset
