The team

You will be part of the Transaction Services Sales team within Wholesale Banking, working closely with Relationship Managers, Advisory & Structuring teams, Product specialists and Operations colleagues across the ING network.

Together, we help clients improve their treasury, cash management, trade finance and working capital processes through tailored Transaction Services solutions. You will operate in a dynamic international environment where collaboration, client focus and commercial excellence are key to our success.

Roles and responsibilities

As a Transaction Services Sales Professional, you will be responsible for originating and growing Transaction Services business across your client portfolio.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Generating new Transaction Services revenue opportunities with existing and prospective Wholesale Banking clients.

  • Developing and executing sales strategies to increase wallet share across Cash Management, Liquidity Management and Trade Finance solutions.

  • Leading the end-to-end sales process, from opportunity identification and client pitching through to mandate signing.

  • Collaborating with Advisory & Structuring teams to deliver tailored client solutions and compelling proposals.

  • Negotiating commercial agreements and pricing structures while balancing client needs, profitability and ING's risk appetite.

  • Building trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to maximize cross-buy opportunities and deliver exceptional client experiences.

  • Ensuring compliance with ING's KYC requirements and risk frameworks throughout the client lifecycle.

  • Representing ING at client meetings, industry events and networking opportunities while staying informed about market developments and emerging trends.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Higher education (HBO) or University education (Bachelor or Master's degree) preferably in Economics, Accounting or Finance

  • Proven experience in Transaction Services, Treasury Services, Cash Management, Trade Finance or a related banking environment.

  • Strong commercial and business development skills, with a track record of originating and winning new business.

  • Deep knowledge of Cash and Trade solutions for complex corporate and institutional clients.

  • The ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior client stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of risk management, KYC requirements and financial services regulatory frameworks.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with professional fluency in English.
