Are you a senior credit risk leader looking to shape strategy at the highest levels of a global bank?  

This is an exceptional opportunity to step into a highly visible leadership role where you'll influence credit risk policy, portfolio strategy, regulatory engagement and complex credit decisioning across Wholesale Banking and Commercial Real Estate. 

This is a 6 months fixed term contract 

In this individual contributor role as Senior Manager - Credit Strategy & Policy, Wholesale Banking Credit Risk, you’ll work closely with executive stakeholders locally and globally, playing a critical role in maintaining a strong risk culture while supporting sustainable business growth. You'll lead the development of credit risk frameworks, oversee portfolio performance and provisioning activities, and provide expert guidance on significant lending exposures and strategic initiatives. 

You'll regularly engage with regulators, executive committees and international stakeholders, helping navigate an evolving risk landscape and drive meaningful outcomes for the business.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design, implementation and governance of credit risk policies aligned with regulatory and business objectives. 

  • Drive portfolio strategy, capital management, provisioning and credit risk oversight across Wholesale Banking and Commercial Real Estate. 

  • Partner with executive leaders, regulators and global stakeholders to deliver strategic risk initiatives and regulatory outcomes. 

  • Exercise delegated credit authority and provide risk guidance on complex lending transactions and portfolio exposures. 

  • Lead key risk transformation, governance and reporting initiatives to strengthen risk management capabilities. 

What We're Looking For

  • Significant experience in institutional, corporate, commercial real estate or wholesale banking credit risk. 

  • Deep understanding of prudential regulation, regulatory capital frameworks and portfolio risk management. 

  • Experience engaging with regulators and leading credit risk governance, policy or model oversight activities. 

  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge at executive level. 

  • Proven analytical, communication and leadership capabilities, supported by relevant tertiary qualifications.
