The Mission

You work within the Wholesale Banking Global Tribe Digital delivery. The purpose of our Tribe: Becoming the best digital Wholesale Bank by delivering an industry leading and consistent digital customer experience across all ING touch points. The Tribe is responsible for the delivery of all digital touch points where Wholesale Banking Clients (the employees of the clients) engage with ING. This includes interactions across different devices, from smartphones to desktops, and various channels including the mobile app, host 2 host channels, internet banking and websites. Our clients are spread across 40 countries and use our channels to find information, buy products and manage their services.

As the Senior Product Owner Online Banking Administration, you will work according to the ING Agile way of working. The Online Banking Administration squad is responsible for delivering all user interfaces that enable both our customers - primarily Corporate Administrators - and our employees (CLT / Channel Setup teams) to manage the endtoend administration of all ING digital channels.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the PPAM squad, which provides the backend capabilities necessary for your front-end solutions.

The squad functions as a DEVOPS squad, meaning you are responsible for new changes and also the maintenance of everything you and your team deliver.

Your day to day

  • As the Senior Product Owner for Online Banking Administration, you act as the key representative of the squad. You take end‑to‑end ownership of the backlog and steer its priorities in alignment with the broader product vision and strategic objectives.

  • You play a critical role in ensuring strong alignment between Business stakeholders and the three delivery squads involved in providing Online Banking Administration capabilities.

  • You coordinate backlogs and manage end‑to‑end release delivery across multiple squads, each with its own priorities and backlog, while operating within shared environments and a common codebase.

  • You proactively align with other tribes or squads relying on our data in case of any issue or improvement.

  • You maintain the balance between change and run portfolio and determine the priority of the work done by your team.

  • You play an active role in all scrum ceremonies.

  • You report on a regular basis toward tribe management in respect to the progress and you make sure the QBR commitments are executed according to the agreed priorities.

  • You support the Tribe Lead in the responsibility of managing the overall P&L for the Digital delivery tribe by integrating this into your daily work and priority setting.

  • You work with Risk, Compliance, and Legal stakeholders, to make sure our products and services comply with regulation and policies.

  • You apply your experience in marketing, strategic road mapping and adhering to target audiences in the fast-changing context of digital transformation.

  • Deliver digital solutions that seamlessly integrate into our clients’ value chains, while connecting them with relevant internal and external capabilities.

  • Safeguard our license to operate by ensuring secure, resilient, and flawless 24/7 operations, fully compliant with regulatory requirements.

  • You apply your end‑to‑end product expertise to build and manage the products, including COPAF requirements, operational processes, and related business services.

  • You simplify complex solutions and processes, and communicate our value clearly to clients and front‑office teams.

What you’ll bring to the team

  • A Master or Bachelor degree

  • 3+ years of relevant experience as a Product Owner

  • Experience in Banking and a solid foundation of IT knowledge

  • Ability to understand and navigate complex customer and employee journeys

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with demanding or high‑impact stakeholders

  • Experience aligning multiple squads in a highly complex environment and the ability to synchronize work across teams, manage dependencies, and drive integrated end‑to‑end delivery

  • Solid understanding of front-end development for customers and employees facing applications

  • Possess strong analytical skills and takes decisions based on data and facts

  • Fluent in English (written and verbally)

  • Willingness to travel occasionally (twice a year) to Amsterdam
