Role summary

As aSenior Data Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and platforms onGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP). You’ll work closely with data scientists, analysts, ML engineers, and software engineers to enable high-quality data products and AI-driven solutions. This role combines strong engineering foundations with curiosity, collaboration, and a passion for continuous improvement.

You bring:

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in globally distributed teams
• Hands-on experience building complex data pipelines (e.g. PySpark, Airflow)
• Solid proficiency inPythonandSQL
• Experience designing data models and working with SQL-based data management systems
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including testing and CI/CD
• Hands-on experience withGCP servicessuch as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Composer

It’s a plus if you also have:

• A curious, collaborative mindset and enjoyment in helping others grow
• Experience with deployment and provisioning automation tools
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. ELK stack)
• Knowledge ofMLOpsarchitectures and practices
• Experience with data manipulation and transformation at scale
• Exposure to AI-driven solutions such asAgentic AI systems, chatbots, or voicebots
• Experience designing data or ML workflows on GCP and using tools likeVertex AIorDialogflow

Roles and responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines on GCP
• Build and optimize data models to support analytics, reporting, and ML use cases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable AI and data-driven solutions
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across platforms
• Apply software engineering best practices, including testing, CI/CD, and code reviews
• Contribute to observability, monitoring, and operational excellence of data systems
• Actively share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement within the team
