IT Business & System Analyst

We’re looking for an IT Business & System Analyst who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. If you enjoy working with data, improving processes, and ensuring effective project and stakeholder management, this role could be a great fit.

We are looking for you if you:

  • Have experience analyzing business processes and system requirements.
  • Communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Can translate business needs into precise technical specifications.
  • Think analytically and propose practical, data‑driven solutions.
  • Adapt quickly to new tools, environments, and technologies.
  • Know SQL and data analysis tools.
  • Understand process modeling using BPMN or UML.
  • Are familiar with Agile ways of working.
  • Focus on quality and can identify potential issues early.
  • Work well in a team and enjoy sharing knowledge.
  • Are fluent in English (minimum B2).

Additionally, you will score extra points for:

  • Experience in project management or as a Product Owner.
  • Background in finance or banking, especially in fraud detection or transaction systems.
  • Use testing techniques such as exploratory, regression, use‑case, black‑box, and white‑box testing.
  • A master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with Power BI for data analysis and visualizations.
  • Understanding of cloud solutions (Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Kibana, Grafana).
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks.
  • Understanding of agentic AI solutions.

Your responsibilities:

  • Understand business needs and translate them into system requirements.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders.
  • Design business solutions aligned with the company’s technology landscape.
  • Document test results and report issues to the DevOps team.
  • Collaborate with DevOps to ensure systems meet business expectations.

About the team

We build and maintain comprehensive Anti‑Fraud Detection solutions for ING customers across Europe. We work within a Scrum framework and support each other’s growth through continuous learning and collaboration.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be "IT Business Analyst III"
