Apply now

At ING, protecting our customers and the integrity of the financial system is a core priority. Our Financial Crime and Fraud Prevention (FCFP) teams play a critical role in managing risk, meeting regulatory obligations, and continuously strengthening how we detect and prevent financial crime.

Our FSG (Funds) Centre of Excellence (COE, or also called Competence Centre) team leads the first line implementation and execution of ING Lux FCFP program, and we’re looking for a COE FCP Lead to join our Senior Leadership team.

In this role, you’ll set the strategic direction for FSG (Fund) KYC governance, analytics and program delivery, ensuring alignment with regulatory obligations, global standards and risk appetite. Reporting to the Head of FCFP, you’ll lead a high-performing team and oversee a complex portfolio of regulatory, operational and change initiatives across the KYC function.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll combine strategic oversight with execution — driving data-led insights, strengthening controls, and embedding continuous improvement. You’ll also represent the function at senior forums, influencing decision-making across local and global stakeholders.

This is a permanent role based in Luxembourg.

What you’ll do

  • Own and deliver the end-to-end KYC program, including regulatory commitments, global initiatives and remediation activity, with a focus on client segment “Fund”
  • Lead governance and controls, ensuring risks, issues and actions are effectively identified, tracked and resolved.
  • Oversee KYC analytics and performance reporting, delivering meaningful insights to support decision-making and risk management.
  • Drive continuous improvement across AML systems, processes and customer due diligence practices.
  • Provide clear, data-driven reporting to executive stakeholders and represent KYC at senior committees and governance forums.
  • Lead cross-functional delivery, partnering with Risk, Compliance, Operations and Global teams to improve performance and outcomes.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong AML/CTF and governance experience within Financial Services, with exposure to regulatory programs and risk environments, with a strong background on Fund client/structure.
  • Proven experience (5+ years ) leading large, high-performing teams in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver strategic initiatives and manage cross-functional programs end-to-end.
  • Strong understanding of Operational Risk Management frameworks and control environments.
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, including presenting at executive level.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical outcomes.
