As a Senior Java Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing enterprise-scale backend services using Java and Spring technologies. Working within a high-performing Agile team, you'll deliver robust microservices, contribute to architectural decisions, and help drive engineering best practices across the organization.

Required Skills

We're looking for someone with:

  • Strong experience in Java development (Java 8+)
  • Deep knowledge of Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and related modules
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs and enterprise-grade web applications
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software design patterns, and engineering best practices
  • Experience building and supporting microservices-based architectures
  • Expertise in writing unit and integration tests using JUnit
  • Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as Oracle and Cassandra
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, Azure DevOps, or similar
  • Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or ActiveMQ
  • Exposure to container platforms and cloud-native technologies including Docker and OpenShift
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
