Role Purpose

The Market Intelligence Expert will be responsible for building and leading a structured market‑reading capability. They will integrate insights from internal and external sources (Kantar brand tracking, market trends, media data, MMM outputs) to support strategic decisions on media investments, positioning, and communication.
The role serves as a bridge between Brand, Marketing, Media, and Communication teams, with the goal of bringing an integrated, data‑driven perspective into the business.

Seniority

Mid–Senior (5–7 years of experience) in one of the following areas:

  • Market research (agencies or client-side)

  • Media/brand analytics

  • Marketing science / consumer insights

  • Digital analytics or business intelligence with a strong consumer orientation

Key Responsibilities

  • Trend & Market Monitoring

    • Monitor category trends, competitive landscape, promotional activities, and media pressure

    • Analyze growth drivers, competitive dynamics, and emerging weak signals

  • Share of Voice & Share of Market

    • Analyze and interpret SOV/SOM and their relationship over time

    • Identify competitive gaps and investment opportunities

    • Contribute to defining benchmarks and communication effectiveness KPIs

  • Research & Insight (Quantitative, Qualitative, DIY)

    • Manage end‑to‑end research studies, including via DIY platforms: questionnaires, fieldwork, analysis, reporting

    • Maintain interactive dashboards and structured datafiles for marketing and business stakeholders

    • Develop insights by integrating primary research with secondary data

  • Prospect Insight & Acquisition Funnel

    • Analyze choice drivers, barriers to switching, and conversion levers among prospects

    • Support the definition of value proposition and key messages for acquisition targets

  • Bridge Between Brand and Media

    • Translate concepts of saliency, equity, and brand power into concrete implications for media planning

    • Interpret brand tracking frameworks and integrate them into communication strategy

    • Support alignment between brand insights and media planning

  • Audience Strategy & Campaign Insights

    • Support the adaptation of campaign concepts across audiences

    • Use behavioral and attitudinal insights to optimize messaging and touchpoints

  • Support to Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM)

    • Read and interpret MMM outputs

    • Enrich the model with category, brand, and consumer behavior insights

    • Translate complex models into clear and actionable recommendations

Required Technical Skills

  • Statistics & Analysis

    • Strong knowledge of descriptive and inferential statistics (t‑test, ANOVA, chi‑square)

    • Ability to assess sample robustness, bias, and data quality

  • Multivariate Analysis & Modeling

    • Knowledge and use of:

      • Factor analysis

      • Cluster analysis and segmentation

      • Linear/logistic regressions

      • Driver analysis

    • Ability to interpret models with a decision‑making mindset

  • Data Integration & Analytics Mindset

    • Integration of research data with internal data, media data, CRM, and digital analytics

    • Strong problem‑solving orientation and data‑driven approach

  • Visualization & Insight Storytelling

    • Ability to turn complex analysis into clear, actionable storytelling

    • Excellent command of dashboards, data visualizations, and executive presentations

  • AI Applied to Market Research

    • Ability to use Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI tools to support market research

    • Experience analyzing unstructured data (open ended responses, interviews, verbatim) through AI models

    • Proficiency in using AI to accelerate insight synthesis, reporting, and the formulation of initial interpretative hypotheses

    • Strong focus on methodological validation and human oversight to ensure rigor and reliability

Soft Skills

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of marketing and media dynamics

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration

  • Autonomy, proactivity, and impact orientation
