A day in the life of a Product Lead Life Events

  • Leading a product domain that owns end-to-end customer & employee journeys of key daily banking journeys, including but not limited to successions, seizures, close accounts, and release of rental guarantees.

  • Managing, aligning and representing multiple squads composed of CJEs and delivery engineers that deliver change (digitalization, process improvement etc.), non-financial risk management & run activities.

  • Coordinating stakeholders across segments, client services, technology, and branch networks for domain-owned processes. The coordination takes place via formal touchpoints such as Obeya’s and QBR alignments, as well as more informal and direct communication on a day-to-day basis.

  • Monitoring delivery commitments, managing dependencies and resolving impediments to ensure progress towards defined targets for the Life Events.

  • Collaborating with peer product leads and tech leaders in the Tribe as part of the extended leadership team of DBCF central delivery teams.

  • Through understanding & demonstrated experience with daily banking journeys from a business, risk, process and product point of view

  • Affinity with digital delivery to ensure having meaningful, collaborative yet challenging discussions with tech stakeholders

  • Ability to understand & structure complexities, and translate them into clear action plans for the team

  • Solid team management, leadership and storytelling skills to define priorities and streamline objectives while keeping focus on growth of team members

  • Strategic vision to define the future of Life Events together with tribe leadership in a way to maximize positive impact for NPS and eNPS

  • Full professional command in Dutch, French and English languages as we operate in a complex, multi-lingual and multi-location set up

As a Product Lead, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop leadership skills every day by being part of the extended leadership team of Tribe DBCF central delivery teams

  • Deepen knowledge and digital skills to further improve coverage, quality and performance of Life Events journeys

  • Expand skills and expertise around emerging capabilities including digitalization, data & AI

The team

  • Life Events team is an experienced and strong domain within Tribe DBCF, comprised of a nice mix of experienced professionals and young talents. It is also an international & multicultural team where everyone is welcomed. Working within the same squad with delivery engineers and operating in a large stakeholder map help improve hard and soft skills every day. The candidate Product Lead (PL) will have the opportunity of leading this team with the full support of his/her PAL and peer PLs in the area.
