Senior DevOps Engineer



The expected salary for this position: 13 000 - 22 000 PLN

We are looking for you if you:

  • A master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Have experience in 24/7 IT systems development and maintenance
  • Understanding of cloud solutions (Azure, GCP).
  • Have an understanding of Java and its ecosystem, with the ability to implement enhancements or fixes.
  • Have a practical experience with Azure DevOps and can build CI/CD pipelines.
  • Know Linux Systems from a System Administrator perspective
  • Have knowledge of Oracle databases, with a focus on optimizing queries and improving database performance.
  • Have experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Have a problem‑solving mindset and can analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Have excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • You are willing to lead complex developments of IT Systems
  • Are fluent in English (minimum B2).

Additionally, you will score for:

  • Background in finance or banking, especially in fraud detection or transaction systems.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks.
  • Understanding of agentic AI systems.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize a 24/7 service operating across multiple ING branches.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to develop new capabilities and enhance system performance and security.
  • Implement new features or resolve issues in Java.
  • Support database optimization and ensure smooth application operation.
  • Contribute to a team‑oriented, Agile environment.

We build and maintain comprehensive Anti‑Fraud Detection solutions for ING customers across Europe. We work in a Scrum framework and support each other’s growth through continuous learning and collaboration.
