ING Australia is hiring for multiple senior roles in Technology Risk within our Line 1 Technology Risk & Controls function. If driving risk excellence is your passion, we want to hear from you!

Decision-makers need clear insights into the opportunities and risks presented by new technologies—and that’s where you come in.

We’re seeking expressions of interest for three new opportunities across:
✅ Retail Banking
✅ Operations
✅ Technology Platforms

In these roles, you’ll act as the primary Technology Risk advisor to your business area, providing strategic guidance and hands-on risk oversight. Your responsibilities will include:


✔ Delivering high-quality risk assessments
✔ Advising on control requirements and performance for both Run (existing business) and Change (new initiatives)
✔ Embedding deeply within the business to provide proactive, day-to-day risk support

These are team leadership roles, so experience in leading small teams and aligning them toward shared goals is essential. You’ll also need a strong understanding of how banking products are designed, delivered, and maintained in digital channels, as well as how core systems, cloud platforms, and distribution channels enable great customer outcomes.

A practical understanding of key Australian and European regulatory frameworks relevant to Retail Banking, Operations, and Technology Platforms will be highly regarded.
